The Dr. Jesus Troncoso He is Professor of Zoology area of the Department of Ecology and Animal Biology and researcher at the Center for Marine Research (CIM) University of Vigo, Spain. Studies the ecology of benthic marine mollusks and fauna, developing its activity, using large vessels or small boats in several areas of the planet, in polar waters, subtropical, tropical and temperate, of the Atlantic, Indo-Pacific and Antarctic. Author of more than 160 Scientific articles, 15 Mollusks chapters, Abyssal Marine Invertebrates and Fauna in Encyclopedias and / or books and wrote 7 complete books, presented more than 450 communications in national and international congresses, some of them being invited talks. He has participated in organizing 24 national and international conferences; Chairman en 4 from them.
